One of the most quirky film festivals in Australia, held on a working sheep, crop and free range pig farm between Geelong and Ballarat in country Victoria, Warrambeen offers far more than a traditional cinematic experience. With a main stage for music, local food and beverage producers selling their wares and a camping ground available, Warrambeen has something for film lovers of all persuasions.
Gates will open at 11.30am with screenings starting at midday, on a range of ‘cinemas’ located across the property. Film goers can choose from the aptly named screens including The Bank on the flood flats, The Shed in the historic woolshed, The Yard in the sheep yards, The Orchard amongst the homestead’s fruit trees or The Shearers’ Quarters where the Free Range Science films and a Q&A with a real life scientist, will be taking place.
