Camping 2012

For the first year in 2012 Warrambeen will have its inaugural NIGHT session for our exclusive campers. We will be showing three Aussie feature films including Mad Max (the first) and Wake in Fright.

We will also offer a bar, food and music throughout the night to make this the only camping film festival in Australia. Camping is for all ages but NIGHT session is strictly 18+. In other words families are welcome to camp and we will have a separate area for families, but the NIGHT session is a bit of a party. The festival finishes in the early hours of Sunday morning and the campers can sprawl out under the stars.

What you need to bring?

Bring CASH. We have no cash machines at Warrambeen and the closest cash machine is about 30 km away so dont forget.

If attending the NIGHT sessions you will need a DAY and NIGHT ticket. This gets you free camping. Campers will need a tent, swag, or the back of a car with a mattress, warm clothes and a sleeping bag. It can get really cold this time of year so if youre camping please bring warm clothes. There are no fires at Warrambeen due to fire restrictions. Toilets and water will be provided on the camp site plus hot food, drinks and breakfast will be on sale though some of our fantastic food vendors. Cars cannot be moved after 8 pm until 8 am the next day so grab your spot and settle in!

Teepee's are also available for hire. Check out Accomodation for more info.

What not to bring?

Warrambeen is an event for everyone. With this in mind dont bring offensive behavior and bad attitudes. Families, oldies and kids all attend Warrambeen so be respectful of others. Our security will not tolerate anything except for you and your fellow punters having a great time. The night session is more of a party so if thats what you are after pace yourself through the day. Dont jump fences and dont go into private property. Warrambeen is a farm owned by a farming family. They have let us use the location for this great so show respect at all times!

No fires, BYO alcohol, guns, ammunition, illegal drugs. No swimming in dams and pets.
